Unique Log Cabin Uses

Activity Cabin

When staying at accommodation sites or visiting tourist attractions, guests love having a little something extra to do on site. Offering activities and workshops in a cabin keeps your guests entertained and can become an extra revenue stream for your business!

Our Scandinavian inspired cabins can be fitted with benches around the edge of the hut, making the perfect activity space set up, and if you need extra space for equipment our extended cabins that include a 3m side extension are a great solution.

You could offer seasonal workshops like wreath making around Christmas, pumpkin carving at Halloween and egg painting at Easter for all ages and abilities- guests will love making memories and will have a little something to take home!

Treatment Room

Provide your guests with an extra touch of luxury and offer spa treatments during their stay! A wellness cabin provides a cosy, insulated space for massages, spa treatments and more.

If your business has more of a rural, nature based feel, a rustic wellness cabin would be a perfect fit for your business.

However, if a modern aesthetic would fit in better with your business, we can create bespoke modern wellness spaces, where you can choose from multiple cladding options, interior paint options, layout, flooring and electrical & lighting placements.

Animal Interaction Sessions

Just take a look at how Nanny Sharon’s Alpaca Farm uses some of our BBQ cabins as a fantastic space to meet some furry friends! Their guests can enjoy interacting with pygmy goats, rheas, emus, wallabies, Shetland ponies, parrots, rabbits, meerkats and of course, alpacas!

Using a log cabin for animal centric activities provides you with a controlled environment that is safe and secure for both guests and animals. Even better- the cabins can be used all year round, no matter the weather, so no more cancellations due to bad weather or standing around in soggy fields!

The hard wearing Scandinavian Redwood will stand up to mucky boots, hooves, paws, claws and whatever else your guests, human or not, will bring in!

Private Dining Experiences

Tourist attractions, glamping sites, farm shops and restaurants have used our BBQ cabins as unique dining spaces for guests to hire. For instance, The Hungry Obbit in Morpeth, where guests book the cabin to enjoy a meal cooked on the central grill by the owner Robin, and the money raised goes to help fund Hilltop Farm.

The Bothy Teas also showcases a unique use for one of our cabins, where the owner Kathryn hosts afternoon teas with a Scottish twist in her BBQ hut in her garden!

Our cabins could also make great rustic woodland picnic huts, with or without the central BBQ, that can be used all year round!

Information Centre

Every camping or glamping site needs an information centre- it’s an excellent way to introduce your guests to the local area and have a central hub for information curated by you and your staff.

Your information cabin could contain leaflets and brochures from local attractions, have maps of great walking and cycles trails or a folder filled with recommendations for places to eat near your accommodation site. It’s a great opportunity to support and showcase other local businesses too!

Yoga & Wellness

Many modern retreats offer wellness sessions and packages to help guests get the most of their break away from their busy lives. Offering yoga, meditation and other wellness sessions in a cosy wooden building can help guests feel even more connected to nature and create a healing environment for people attending the session.

Our 17m2 rustic wellness cabins are a good option for smaller groups, but if you wanted to host larger classes, a bespoke modern cabin could be the perfect space for you.

Seasonal Experience Spaces

People love unique experiences around key seasonal events like Christmas, Easter and Halloween, so why not take this opportunity to curate your own immersive experience at your tourist attraction or accommodation site.
