1. Understanding the Glamping Market & Guest Expectations
Modern travellers seek unique, comfortable, and Instagram-worthy experiences that blend the charm of nature with luxury. By offering high-quality insulated log cabins, you provide an all-weather escape that appeals to a broad range of guests, including:
- Couples looking for a romantic retreat
- Families wanting an adventurous staycation
- Wellness seekers booking yoga and spa breaks
- Outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy nature without ‘roughing it’
Understanding who your guests are will help you position your glamping business effectively and create targeted marketing strategies.
2. Choosing the Right Accommodation for Profitability
Your cabin selection plays a key role in guest appeal and revenue generation. Investing in high-quality, fully insulated log cabins ensures year-round bookings and longevity of the structures.
Best-Selling Glamping Cabins for Business:- Couples Glamping Cabin (17m² + 3m extension) – Ideal for romantic getaways, offering an ensuite, kitchenette, and cosy atmosphere.
- Family Glamping Cabin (Two 17m² units combined) – Larger space with private facilities, catering to family holidays and small groups.
- BBQ Cabins (10m², 14m², 17m² sizes) – Unique social spaces that guests can rent separately, providing an extra revenue stream alongside accommodation.
By diversifying your offering, you attract a wider audience, leading to higher occupancy rates and increased profitability.
3. Setting Up Competitive Pricing for Your Cabins
Pricing your glamping cabins correctly is crucial for generating strong returns. Research similar businesses in your area to determine competitive rates.
Average UK Glamping Prices (Per Night):- Couples Glamping Cabin: £120 - £250
- Family Glamping Cabin: £150 - £350
- BBQ Cabin Rental (per event): £100 - £250
- £600 per week (£2,400 per month) from just one unit
- £28,800 per year – meaning a full return on investment within 1-2 years!
4. Monetising Additional Features on Your Site
Beyond standard bookings, there are many ways to boost revenue with add-ons and unique guest experiences
Upselling Opportunities:- Hot Tubs & Wood-Fired Spas – Premium feature that allows you to charge higher rates.
- BBQ Packages & Meal Kits – Offer locally sourced food for guests to cook in their BBQ cabin.
- Adventure & Experience Packages – Partner with local activity providers (hiking, kayaking, wine tasting).
- Firewood & Essentials Packs – Pre-packaged bundles of firewood, kindling, and marshmallow toasting kits.
- Pet-Friendly Cabins – Charge an extra fee for guests bringing pets.
These small add-ons significantly increase your revenue per booking and enhance the guest experience.
5. Marketing Your Glamping Site for Maximum Bookings
Website & SEO Optimisation
- Have a dedicated website with stunning images, booking options, and guest testimonials.
- Use SEO keywords like “luxury glamping in [your location]” and “glamping cabins with hot tubs” to improve visibility.
- Post high-quality photos & videos showcasing the cabins.
- Use Instagram Reels & TikTok to showcase guest experiences.
- Run Facebook & Google Ads targeting people searching for staycations and glamping holidays.
- If your site is near a wedding venue, promote your cabins as overnight accommodation for wedding guests.
6. Managing Operational Costs for Higher Profit Margins
Cost-Saving Tips:
- Energy Efficiency: Use solar lighting, energy-efficient heating, and well-insulated cabins to reduce electricity bills.
- Automate Check-Ins: Use keyless entry & online booking systems to cut down staff costs.
- DIY Maintenance: Learn basic upkeep of cabins instead of hiring external contractors for small repairs.
Many glamping operators cover their initial investment within 12-24 months by smart pricing & operational efficiency.
7. Planning For Long-Term Growth
- Expand with More Glamping Units – Offer a mix of Couples Cabins, Family Lodges, and BBQ Cabins.
- Develop Year-Round Packages – Attract guests in winter with festive, cosy-themed stays.
- Enhance Site Facilities – Add a communal sauna, yoga studio, or wellness retreat to differentiate your site.
By continuously adapting and improving, your glamping business can grow into a leading outdoor hospitality destination.

What are your log cabins made from?
Our log cabins are made from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certified Scandinavian Redwood. Our modern lodges have the option of being cladded with Marley Board, which is virtually maintenance free, meaning you don’t have to worry about having to re-treat or paint your cabin.
What is a BBQ Cabin?
Our BBQ Cabins are inspired by traditional Scandinavian grillkota (“grill house”) that were used by reindeer herders to provide a sheltered space during harsh winters. With a central grill for cooking, grillkota cabins provided a space for communal cooking that are still in use in the modern day.
Are Camping Cabins similar to bell tents and glamping pods?
No, bell tents are made from canvas and are only used for glamping in the dryer seasons. Glamping pods are made from wood but have a similar structural shape to traditional tents and usually consist of just one room. Camping Cabins are inspired by traditional Scandinavian grillkota, can have extensions fitted for additional rooms and can be used all year round.
Are your log cabins waterproof?
Yes, our camping and glamping cabins are watertight due to their structure and insulated roofs and floors. This makes them an ideal choice for all year round glamping!
Where can you deliver your log cabins to?
We deliver and install our log cabins across the UK! Our factory is based in Derbyshire, where all our cabins are made, then sent to businesses across the country. Wherever you are in the UK, we can get a cabin to you!
Can you make a custom cabin for my business?
Our aim is to provide businesses across the UK with high quality timber buildings. Our cabins can be customised with extensions and partitions. However if you are looking for a more bespoke log cabin, our team can provide you with a free quote.
