Meet The Team

As Owner and MD of Arctic Cabins from the day it was created, there is no-one in the company who knows the product better. Gareth’s wife Virpi is a native Finn and introduced Gareth to the world of BBQ cabins when they first met in 1998. He proactively leads all sales and distribution throughout the companies, works closely with all departments and takes pride in the high quality buildings manufactured by us here in the UK.

Virpi, who is from Finland, met Gareth back in 1998 while travelling. They soon became the strongest team and after settling back here in the UK they decided to bring a Scandinavian tradition to Britain in the form of Arctic Cabins, established back in 2002. Virpi helps in many areas of the business including the Show Site & the Factory.

With an extensive sales background Cliff joined the team back in 2014 as a Sales Executive. He worked his way up to Head of Sales across all the companies in 2017. Cliff is based at our midlands show site and motivates the team and directs their focus, whilst continually analysing and improving the sales processes.

Since Simon started with the Arctic Cabins family back in 2017, as a Sales Executive, his role has quickly progressed, with his innovative ideas and strong eye for detail he has taken the lead in developing new systems across the businesses. Simon has an active sales role within the companies and you may deal with him if you have opted for a bespoke cabin build.

With an extensive sales background, David is a valuable member of the team and has been since 2017. With vast knowledge of all of our buildings, including building regs structures, Camping Cabins customers are in safe hands when dealing with David.

George joined the team in 2018 and is a key point of contact with customers. He works on many of the larger cabin enquiries as his product knowledge is extremely extensive. George also works on different products across our sister companies and has achieved the award of Top Salesman, several months running.

After working in sales for most of her career, Anne-Marie has worked with Gareth on several projects since 2008. In 2018 she became part of our team concentrating her talents on the Cabins for Schools and Camping Cabins side of the businesses as our B2B Sales coordinator. In 2020 she added a new feather to her bow with sales for Cabin Master & Arctic Cabins.

David joined the team in 2022 and has an extensive background in house extensions & conservatories allowing him to understand the needs of the customer when it comes to creating more space at home! David is working across all our businesses from our Nottingham show site office and has recently taken on the role of Project Manager for Camping Cabins.

James, son to Gareth and Virpi our company Directors, began on the installations team at Arctic Cabins. In 2023 he joined our Nottingham sales team, working across both Arctic Cabins and Cabin Master. He has worked on many of the larger cabin enquiries including building regs structures and achieved the award of Top Salesman for 2024.

Ian joined our sales team in 2023. He has a passion for attending shows across the country to showcase our buildings.

John joined our sales team in 2023. With an extensive background in sales, he took the task at hand by storm! John is primarily based at our Studley show site.

Andy joined our sales team in 2023. You’ll mainly find him at our Studley show site, always happy to show people around our buildings and offer his expert advice.

Jake joined our team in October 2024. He is mainly based at our Nottingham show site and works across all our brands.

Liam is the newest member of our sales team, joining us in January 2025.

Alex manages our Garden Room Design Team. While creating your perfect garden room you may spend time with Alex to create the visuals. He also works with our factory to supply detailed drawings for manufacturing as well as product development.

Isaac joined the Design team in June 2024. He is mainly based at our Nottingham show site designing buildings with customers on site as well as via video link.

Cameron is a product design trainee joining our team September 2024 at the Nottingham Show Site. Cameron is mainly based in our Design Office working on customer and factory drawings.

Nick is our Distributor Support Manager who came on board in 2022. He helps our current distributors with bringing on new products from across our different ranges. He has also brought on new companies to ensure we can offer our products further afield.

Debbie works within all 5 of Gareth’s companies since starting in 2014. Debbie deals with all the incoming and outgoing payments of the businesses and is the oracle when it comes to what went where, how, when and why!

Nikki joined the team in spring 2020 to take over the role of calendar management. All customers will speak to Nikki to organise the dates for their cabin installations. She also works closely with our Aftercare Team and supports Marketing too… she’s one busy lady! Gifts of chocolate & Gin are gratefully received!

Victoria is Head of Marketing across the 5 main companies and with a background as a professional photographer her skills have been invaluable in developing websites and company literature. Her team manage the ad & event campaigns as well as build good relationships between new and existing customers, ensuring imagery & information is readily available.

Kay joined our Marketing team to support Victoria and be a bridge between our owners and new customers. Kay concentrates her time on Social Media posts and stories showing our 100k plus followers the range of cabins we install on a daily basis.

Melissa joined our Marketing team in 2023 as a Marketing Assistant supporting Kay & Victoria. She is now working on our B2B brands from Social Media through to the main website content & campaigns.

Daniel came on board in 2023 as a Digital Media Marketing Assistant. His strengths are currently focused on our video creation from products to owner case studies as well as events at our show sites.

Olivia joined our team in 2024 as a Marketing Apprentice. She concentrates her efforts on social media content creation for Cabin Master and Arctic Cabins.

Courtney joined our team in 2024 as a Marketing Apprentice. She concentrates her efforts on our B2B brand, Camping Cabins, as well as social media content creation.

Lauren joined the team in January 2025 as our Graphic Designer. She helps design printed and digital material across all our companies.

Sean runs our manufacturing operations in Derbyshire for our businesses. Sean has been with the company for 14 years, working his way up the ranks and has been Head of Manufacturing since 2017. He has implemented an incredible amount of new systems into that side of the business.

Wayne is our fabulous factory manager. started in 2016 on the Arctic Cabins Saw team. He quickly moved up to Bench Joiner in Cabin Master, followed by Supervisor. Since 2021, he has been running our Cabin Master factory single-handedly.

Neil is our incredible Health and Safety manager. He began in 2019 and has been responsible for facilitating regular workplace checks and conducting inspections and audits to ensure everything across all companies complies with legislation and standards.

Rick started out his journey in 2020 at our sister company, Arctic Cabins. In 2023, he joined Cabin Master. He is a fantastic addition to the saw team.

Alex began his Cabin Master journey as a bench joiner. In 2020, he progressed to specialising in wall sections. His expertise in this area is next-to-none.

Chiu Wa, who fondly goes by Jeff, is a real team favourite. He began as a bench joiner in the summer of 2021 and has got the job done with a smile on his face ever since!

Rob joined Cabin Master back in 2015 working along side Sam Elvin on installations, he quickly became a Team Leader on one of our fitting teams. Rob has always been complimented on his friendly and professional manner, not only on site but at the factory too! In 2020 he was promoted to Installations Manager and now overseas all the fitting teams.

Sam has been with Cabin Master for over a decade coming on board back in 2010. This is Sam’s first job out of college but he is now one of our most experienced and trusted joiners. Quiet, calm and collected, we can always rely on Sam who was promoted to Assistant Installations Manager in the summer of 2020. He plays a major part in leading our fitting teams as well as supporting our Arctic Cabins teams to get the job done and finished on site.

In 2018 Alex joined our installation teams and quickly showed his vast knowledge and skills as a 2nd man. He was promoted to Team Leader back in 2019 leading a team of 3 installing our cabins throughout the UK. In 2024 he was promoted to Assistant Installations Manager alongside Sam Elvin as we continue to grow our Install Teams for the future.

Paul started in our factory building the framework for our Cabin Master buildings. In 2019 he moved onto our Cabin Master base teams and is now a base team leader.

In 2019 Richie joined our installation teams and is partnered up with Paul Cotterill on the more complex builds, including our Swim Spa projects.

Josh, also known as “Posh Lad” started on our base team back in 2019. Currently working alongside Callum installing cabin bases for our Cabin Master fitting teams.

Steve works within our second base team as second man to Josh.

Dan started in 2020 when the business was in an all time crazy busy period. He settled in to Adam’s team perfectly and has been there ever since.

Late 2018 Steven joined Cabin Master and is now 2nd man on Alex’s team. His strength and persistence as well as the ability to work in all conditions enables him to keep to schedules and deadlines.

Macaulay joined us as a bench joiner back in 2020. No stranger to putting in effort and hard work, he has shown nothing but dedication since.

Liam works on our second fitting team as a the third man to Alex's team.

Simon joined Mitchells Team as 2nd man and together they are a formidable force and just love what they do. Helpful, polite and always go the extra mile.

Josh works in our first fitting team as the second man to Tom.

Adam started in our Arctic Cabins factory back in 2017, moving from roof making to the saw. He then trained on the Cabin Master side of things and became a 3rd man on Sam's team in 2019 and quickly progressed to Team Leader running his own team along with his brother Jamie.

Lewis is part of our 4th fitting team and works as the 2nd man to Simon.

Pete has been our resident Electrician for many years and works on all projects from small to big. Pete has been an electrician for over 40 years and is Part P Certified and does both Domestic and Commercial work, EV charging installations, network installs and intruder alarms.

5 years ago Simon came on board to assist Pete as an electrician when our Cabin Master & Camping Cabins businesses soared.

Brett has been a part of the Electrics team here at Cabin Master since 2019. Brett has great knowledge on our systems and works across 4 of the main businesses.

Damian joined our painting team back in 2020 and has taken things to the next level. He often works alone on the smaller cabins and alongside Tom on larger jobs and Schools cabins.
