High Parks

Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, High Parks is home to 20 acres of woodland and 3 cosy log cabins- “Deer Lodge”, "Pheasant Lodge” and “Owl Lodge”.

The team at High Parks have created a wonderful woodland escape, where each lodge has its own private surrounding area, complete with an outdoor gas BBQ and campfire pit- perfect for those cosy evenings under the stars together! There is also a BBQ cabin that can be rented for an evening, for a unique indoor cooking experience. Their hard work has certainly paid off, with High Parks recently being awarded a “9.8 out of 10” Traveller Review Award from Booking.com.

Each cabin is decorated with a theme based around the cabin name, either “Deer”, “Pheasant” or “Owl”, which is a wonderful idea to reflect the surrounding forests and wildlife inside the cabin accommodation.

The cabins each have an open plan interior with a king sized bed, lounge area, ensuite bathroom and a tea & coffee station, so guests can enjoy all their home comforts! Guests can really tell that a lot of time and thought has gone into how the cabins look on the inside, as well as keeping the surrounding land as natural as possible.

Around High Parks, there are plenty of walks and things to see, such as Bolton Castle and The Forbidden Corner and, of course, the Yorkshire Dale National Park. On their website, they also have a list of recommended local walks, so be sure to check that out when planning your stay! They have also put together a helpful list of recommended nearby cafes, pubs, restaurants and takeaways.

High Parks had their first cabin installed over 15 years ago, and they are still looking fantastic with their chic, rustic interior décor and natural exterior that blends into the surroundings of the forest.
